A PROPOS
Né à Toulon d’une mère péruvienne et d’un père français d’origine espagnole, Manu Guerrero tisse un lien singulier entre le jazz contemporain et les musiques d’Amérique du Sud.
Formé au piano classique puis révélé sur les scènes de la chanson française (Céline Dion, Michel Sardou, Patrick Fiori, M. Pokora…), il se consacre depuis 2016 à un parcours personnel dans le jazz.
Son album Nuevo Mundo (Jazz Family, 2018), enregistré avec Samy Thiebault, Minino Garay, Lukmil Pérez et Felipe Cabrera, explore les passerelles entre rythmes andins, afro-latins et la modernité du jazz.
De la France à l’Amérique latine, il partage sa musique lumineuse, lyrique et rythmique, où se rencontrent la liberté du jazz et la ferveur sud-américaine.
Il a joué avec Baptiste Herbin, Minino Garay, Manu Codjia, Magic Malik, Pierre Bertrand, Thomas Bramerie, Felipe Cabrera, Lukmil Perez, Pierre Marcus, Orlando Poleo…
En 2025, il collabore avec Baptiste Herbin et Minino Garay sur l’album Los Arregladores, mêlant jazz contemporain et influences latino-américaines.
ABOUT ME
Born in Toulon to a Peruvian mother and a French father of Spanish descent, Manu Guerrero weaves a unique connection between contemporary jazz and South American music.
Trained in classical piano and later revealed on the French pop scene (Céline Dion, Michel Sardou, Patrick Fiori, M. Pokora…), he has been devoted since 2016 to a personal artistic journey within jazz.
His album Nuevo Mundo (Jazz Family, 2018), recorded with Samy Thiebault, Minino Garay, Lukmil Pérez, and Felipe Cabrera, explores the bridges between Andean and Afro-Latin rhythms and the modernity of jazz.
From France to Latin America, he shares his luminous, lyrical, and rhythmic music — where the freedom of jazz meets the fervor of the South.
He has played with Baptiste Herbin, Minino Garay, Manu Codjia, Magic Malik, Pierre Bertrand, Thomas Bramerie, Felipe Cabrera, Lukmil Pérez, Pierre Marcus, and Orlando Poleo.
In 2025, he collaborated with Baptiste Herbin and Minino Garay on the album Los Arregladores, blending contemporary jazz and Latin American influences.
